Syberia is a series of four adventure games designed by the Belgian comic artist Benoît Sokal and developed and published by Microids.
Plot[]
The games in the series all follow the adventures of an American lawyer - Kate Walker - who has been tasked with with overseeing the major sale of an automaton company. Throughout the series, the player can experience her subsequent journey across Europe and Russia.
Games in the series[]
- Amerzone: The Explorer's Legacy - first game developed by Benoît. It is not officialy part of the series, but it takes place in the same Universe and is mentioned multiple times during the series.
- Syberia - first game in the series. The introduction of Kate Walker and her start of the jurney to find Hans Voralberg.
- Syberia II - second game in the series. Kate's further adventures in the quest to help Hans find The Isle of Syberia.
- Syberia III - third game in the series. After abandoning the Isle of Syberia, Kate finds herself adrift on a makeshift boat, rescued by the Youkol people she decides to help them take the snow ostriches on their seasonal migration. The game includes a DLC - An Automaton With a Plan.
- Syberia: The World Before - fourth game in the series. The game follows two timelines with two characters: Dana Roze, a young pianist in the small fictional Central European country of Osterthal and Kate Walker, the protagonist of Syberia series, who is now imprisoned in a salt mine in the fictional Eastern European region of Taiga.
