The Stationmaster is one of the residents of Barrockstadt. He is not a typical Stationmaster, apart from holding the responsibility for safety and the efficient running of Barrockstadt Train Station he is also responsible for taking care of the aviary with all the plants and birds that it houses. The Rectors are his superiors and he follows all the rules as to not get in trouble with them.

Before Syberia[]
The Stationmaster has worked on that position for a long time and never had another job. He remembers times when around the start of fall, trains would bring kids from all around the world to Barrockstadt, to study zoology, botany or paleontology on the fameous University, back when University of Barrockstadt was a great University.
He was helping with the secret wine production at the University by growing the forest Sauvignon plants in the garden behind the station.
Syberia[]
Few months before Kate Walker's arrival in Barrockstadt he fell off the gangway while climbing it which caused him to experience pain in his spine. Due to this and the vertigo he's been getting he can't collect the cuckoo eggs himself anymore which he's been doing since the mechanical eagle broke. He started to get worried that the Rectors would notice the eggs piling up in the nests and expected trouble any minute.
The Stationmaster noticed the mechanical train stoping on the station and soon after met Kate on the Train Station beach. He introduced himself and they talked about the University and the Train Station for a while. When later Kate returned asking if he doesn't know where she can find a forest Sauvignon plant he lied that he doesn't know anything about such plants and cut the conversation short by walking away.
He stoped on the bridge where he started pretending that he is very busy and when Kate returned he redirected her to Profesor Pons. When Kate returned again she exposed him for his lies and demanded to see the garden. The Stationmaster was very abashed and agreed to show her the garden right away. Later he apologised Kate for his behaviour, gave Kate a small gift - a bottle of Barrockstadt Sauvignon - and wished her luck on her jurney.
