Maître Alfolter is one of the residents of Valaldilene and the town's Notary. He lives in the second biggest house in the town, located on the main street.
History[]
Maître Alfolter lived in Valadilene his entire life. He met Hans Voralberg when he was very young and has only some vague memories of him. He attended the staged funeral that Hans' father prepeared for his son. When older, he became the town's Notary. Anna Voralberg was one of his dearest friends and most faithful clients. His health deterioated with age and his doctor forbade him from working too long.
He was informed of the sale of the factory and the arrival of an American lawyer - Kate Walker - in town. Anna Voralberg sent him a letter two days before she passed away, in which she revealed that her brother is still alive and that he is now the only heir of the factory and he is the one that will need to sign the take-over contract. She also informed him that the last time she heard any news from Hans he was somewhere in Siberia.

When Kate arrived to meet him on 17th April, 2002, after learning about Anna's death, he welcomed her and gave her the unfortunate news. He read the letter that Anna has sent him and gave it to her so that she can read it herself. He also told her that perhaps she can find more informations in the Voralberg Factory Archives and allowed her to take the key to the factory from the waiting room. After that his role in that affair was over and so he asked Kate to leave him so that he can rest.
