Ivan Bourgoff - one of the main antagonists of Syberia II. He lives in Romansburg with his brother Igor.
Biography[]
While Kate stops at Romansburg station she needs to get gas for the coil machine. She asks the brothers to borrow her some to which Ivan answers that they don't have any. Kate notices that it is a lie because their machine is releasing smoke. Kate sneaks into their hideout and releases a youki they had trapped, cousing a distraction. Ivan chases after it and while he is gone Kate changes the jerry can with an empty one.
While watching Cirkos' mechanical horses, Kate notices the train leaving the station. She calls Oscar, who tells her that Ivan and Igor stole the train with Hans and Oscar in it. Kate chases after the train in a trolley powered by the youki in a running wheel. Unfortunally after the train crosses a bridge it breaks down under the heavy machine, leaving her behind.
When Kate finally finds the train on the other side, Oscar tells her that Ivan threw him off the train. Kate searches for the brothers. Soon she finds Igor who is scared of the strange sounds coused by the wind. When she finally callms him down he leaves on a snowbike.
Kate climbs a hill in front of the train, and suddenly Ivan appears behind her. He starts threatening her with a mammoth tusk. Kate calls Oscar and asks him for help to get rid of Ivan. The automaton creates a distraction and when Ivan turns around Kate cuts a rope holding a sleigh full of bones. The sleigh fails to run over Ivan, and the thin ice under Kate breaks, making her fall.
Quite some time later, after Kate un-anchors the boat to leave Syberia, Ivan attempts to leave her stranded, but the boat won't leave. Kate manages to make the boat set sail, the boat's sail unfolds, knocking Ivan off it and leaving him with the penguins, who presumably devour him.
