Herman Voralberg is the oldest known member of the Voralberg family.
History[]
Herman lived in Valadilene during the XIIIth century. He was famous for his puppet making skills. While there was no definite puppet industry at the time, Herman Voralberg's renown was recognized even in the court of the Emperor. He died in 1295 and was burried at the Valadilene Cemetery in the Voralberg Tomb.
Trivia[]
- His name in latin translates to Hermanus as it can be seen on the ancient picture of him presenting the puppets to the Emperor.
- On his grave in the Voralberg Tomb his name was written in latin, the reason for that is unknown.
