History[]
Kate Walker meets him in Komkolzgrad, where he's drinking away his sorrows. Kate hopes he can lend her a vehicle and help her out of the industrial city.
- When asked about Hans Voralberg he stumbles over that name and mutters "Carl Sberg" - clearly thinking about more to drink. Boris Charow hates Hans, because when Voralberg ran away from Komkolzgrad, the army shut down the rocket program and Boris was never allowed to achieve his dream of flying to the stars.
- Hates Serguei Borodine and calls him a traitor. Also Boris calls, that Serguei is psychopath and manaic. Sharov advises Kate Walker will be cautious with Borodine.
- When Kate meets him for the first time he is severely drunk and one can't get a straight answer. After a tiny accident, where he tumbles over and falls into a metal trough, his senses return. He then reveals that he's a Red-Army Test Pilot Reject who is now in charge of the Komkolzgrad Space Complex. Charow also can tell more about Hans who created flying machines for the Cosmodrome. Thanks to Hans, Charow almost was the first test pilot in a rocket and about to test Hans' creation, the Spring-Loaded launcher. But then Hans disappeared and the test program was discontinued.
